Look at the whole pattern

Frequency can be influenced by drinks, medicines, infection, bladder function and other health conditions. Note whether you pass small or large amounts, have urgency or wake at night.

Prepare for a useful conversation

Record roughly when symptoms started and what makes them better or worse. A clinician may suggest a bladder diary. Avoid making major changes to prescribed medicines without advice.

Seek help when symptoms persist

Arrange evaluation when frequency continues, disrupts daily life or accompanies pain. Fever, severe pain or an inability to urinate warrants urgent assessment.

This information is intended for general education and does not replace individual medical evaluation. A procedure described here may not be suitable for every patient.

You don’t have to keep guessing what the symptom means.

Whether the concern is painful, persistent or difficult to talk about, start with a conversation about what is happening and what to do next.
